We know … you’ve been planning it since ages – YOUR DREAM MOTORCYCLE RIDE TO THE TOP OF THE WORLD – LADAKH. The time is NOW … before the purity of this stretch of the Himalayas gets lost to vada pav, kappa chips and biryani vendors dotting the road … an inevitable fact!  Make it a NO COMPROMISE experience … and we know EXACTLY HOW TO DO THAT. Having organised ONE HUNDRED AND FIVE f’king amazing motorcycle rides, yes … you read it right … ONE…ZERO…FIVE … we bet, doing it with anyone else, even on your own, with your closest friends, will be a compromise.

You need a guide, a mentor, and sometimes a protector when riding through this treacherous terrain … someone who will show you places that others wouldn’t (places not revealed on itineraries); filling your bag with experiences that you’ll cherish for a lifetime … with a bunch of equally-crazy motorcyclists who’ll be your best friends even after the ride. Here’s an advice – don’t wait for that friend of yours to say yes and do this ride with you … it’ll never happen!

Here’s what we do …

When :

Dates: 2^nd June to 16^th June 2018..

Circuit :

Jammu – Srinagar  – Kargil – Leh – Nubra – Turtuk – Pangong – Sarchu – Manali.

 What will you experience:

• >Spend the day at Srinagar – The heaven on earth..

• >Experience the patriotism when you read about Martyrs at the Kargil War Memorial and the beautiful city of Kargil.

• >See the rich sikh culture at the pathaar sahib gurudwara maintained by the army in the deserts of leh.

• >Experience bliss as you read ‘Welcome to LEH’ on one of the signboards

• >You will be astonished to read a milestone: LEH 40 KMS…. Because we remember seeing the same distance ‘LEH 40 KMS’ almost 20 kms ago

• >A sense of accomplishment will run through us as we ride on the so called ‘Highest motorable road in the world’ at about 18000 ft – Khardung La. The maggi from the military canteen there, tastes better than any other maggi in the world…

• >As you descend into the Nubra valley the sight of a huge desert and double humped camels in the middle of snow capped peaks would astonish you.

• >Ride to Turtuk the last checkpost in India

• >The various monasteries and experience the calm they offer.

• >As you ride for kilometers to reach Pangong Tso, we would be thinking “Is this earth or have I reached heaven?” and once we sight the mighty lake and soak in its beauty, we would think “OMFG! I want to stay here forever”.  The changing colours of the lake through the day will bring out the photographer in you..

• >We will spend a breathtaking evening at sarchu and then conquering the mighty baralacha La moving towards Rohtang La to witness the source of the Beas river.

• >We will spend a day to explore the solang valley, vashisht hot springs, the Hadimba devi temple , gompas and loads of other places or maybe just a walk to the mall and the tree garden…

• >Finally we get to spend quality time with our fellow riders and enjoy a beautiful evening at manali, recollecting the moments and memories that shall remain forever etched in our minds and hearts.

Twin Sharing* : A few places do not have proper hotels and there we will be put up in dorms type stays.

All Meals** : On the non-riding days, each one is free to explore the area, the local cuisine and schedule the day as per their convenience. All meals will be taken care of on 12 of the 14 days.

How we ship/ride…

The ride starts from Jammu so you can use trains to send the bikes to Jammu or Gati/ARC and various other logistic services to send the bikes.

While on the way back Chandigarh is the nearest railway head to transfer bikes via train or else Gati/ARC are also available in Chandigarh.

Or you could ride all the way from Mumbai/Pune with our lead –  The Musafirs HULK … a.k.a. Brijesh Kirtonia (he will be leading the ride)

A technically sound banda who has travelled the length and breadth of India on his motorcycle – one who can get you out of any mess that you may get into on the ride. He will be riding through Maharashtra – Gujarat – Rajasthan – Haryana – Punjab before he reaches J&K on 2nd June. If interested, you could also join him instead of shipping your bike and taking a train/fight

The Musafirs is NOT a Boyz-Only Riders Club. Female riders/pillions are welcome as our female crew member  and numerous other female Musafirs would be there to keep company throughout the trip.

Step 2 Transfer the Booking Amount of Rs 20,000 to:

Step 3 Fill in the REGISTRATION FORM. 

The Musafirs will be making confirmed bookings and payments on your behalf and so the booking amount is non-refundable.

Balance full payment to be done 30 days before the ride i.e 02^nd May 2018.

We do not support/encourage drugs and are firmly against it! If you cannot resist the urge to light up a joint for ride days, you are better off riding with some other riding group.
