Musafirs Motorcycle Ride #74

“Yeh toh Maharashtra mai Musoorie jaisa route hai” and the other three unanimously agreed… Last weekend, four Musafirs were out on a recce, exploring places for the July ride. And this Musafirs Motorcycling ride on 23^rd-24^th July will not just be about the destination … it will be about a beautiful journey through MANY greenery soaked mountain passes (ghats) with generous white dashes of milky waterfalls. It’ll be a motorcyclist’s delight and those who prefer to stick to 6-laned highways rarely experience this true beauty of nature. Both, the Mumbai and pune chapters will take almost similar routes.

The distance to Wai from our assembly through the scenic route (Mahad-Verdhana-Bhor-Maitri-Wai) is just about 250 odd kms – and it gets shorter on our return route through the NH4. Through the circuit, you will be mesmerized by the beauty that nature offers as you ascend up and ride with clouds before descending and riding besides different water bodies – and the best part – it happens more than just once – ensuring that your experience is memorable!

Oh… and the accommodation is on the banks of the Dhom Dam – not a very lavish or huge one, but the best option in the vicinity. And on the way back, we’ll stop at the famous Mapro outlet where you can buy Mapro delicacies at discounted prices (So keep space in your backpacks/saddle bags).

Also, it is not a riders-only ride – our pillions have even more fun with “shoot-at-sight” orders. So while you have a big grin on your face maneuvering the next corner with your eyes on the exit, you pillion has it fixed on the valley below or the serpentine bike formations synonymous with The Musafirs.

How We Ride:

Riding with the Musafirs requires biking discipline and punctuality. The Musafirs is an evolved motorcycle club https://www.themusafirs.com/motorcycling-news/). Our riders demonstrate real control, discipline and temperament by riding in the designated formations at the designated speed and performing responsibilities that make the ride function like clock-work.

The Musafirs is NOT a Boyz-Only Riders Club. Female riders/pillions are welcome as our female crew member – Shona and numerous other female Musafirs would be there to keep company throughout the trip.
Don’t wait for your friends to agree to join you… biking does not appeal to everyone and you may end up missing the smaller pleasures of life if you wait for your friends.
