14 days, 2000 kms, the high mountain passes, the pristine blue lake , the cold desert, the second coldest inhabitated place in the world, old ruins, and the rustic landscape invites the rugged biker in us to explore the challenging terrain of Ladakh on 2 wheels..

This year the ride will commence from Jammu and end in Manali.

When: 

Dates: 24^th June to 7^th July 2017.

Plan: From wherever you are in India, ship your motorcycles to Jammu (Train is the best option. You could also use road logistics – but we’ve had some bitter-sour experiences). Ensure it reaches there on 23^rd June.

Circuit :

Jammu – Udhampur – Ananthnag – Sonamarg – Kargil – Leh – Nubra – Turtuk – Pangong – Sarchu – Manali.

• >You will be astonished to read a milestone: LEH 40 KMS…. Because we remember seeing the same distance ‘LEH 40 KMS’ almost 20 kms ago

• >A sense of accomplishment will run through us as we ride on the so called ‘Highest motorable road in the world’ at about 18000 ft – Khardung La. The maggi from the military canteen there, tastes better than any other maggi in the world…

• >As you descend into the Nubra valley the sight of a huge desert and double humped camels in the middle of snow capped peaks would astonish you.

• >Ride to Turtuk the last checkpost in India

• >The various monasteries and experience the calm they offer.

• >As you ride for kilometers to reach Pangong Tso, we would be thinking “Is this earth or have I reached heaven?” and once we sight the mighty lake and soak in its beauty, we would think “OMFG! I want to stay here forever”.  The changing colours of the lake through the day will bring out the photographer in you..

• >We will spend a breathtaking evening at sarchu and then conquering the mighty baralacha La moving towards Rohtang La to witness the source of the Beas river.

• >We will spend a day to explore the solang valley, vashisht hot springs, the Hadimba devi temple , gompas and loads of other places or maybe just a walk to the mall and the tree garden…

• >Finally we get to spend quality time with our fellow riders and enjoy a beautiful evening at manali, recollecting the moments and memories that shall remain forever etched in our minds and hearts.

Twin Sharing* : A few places do not have proper hotels and there we will be put up in dorms type stays.

All Meals** : On the non-riding days, each one is free to explore the area, the local cuisine and schedule the day as per their convenience. All meals will be taken care of on 12 of the 14 days.

We can provide assistance/information for the transportation of the bike from Mumbai to Jammu and from Manali to Mumbai.

Riding with the Musafirs requires biking discipline and punctuality. The Musafirs is an evolved motorcycle club. Our riders demonstrate real control, discipline and temperament by riding in the designated formations at the designated speed and performing responsibilities that make the ride function like clock-work.

The Musafirs is NOT a Boyz-Only Riders Club. Female riders/pillions are welcome as our female crew member  and numerous other female Musafirs would be there to keep company throughout the trip.

We are not the conventional money-minting tour operators, biking is the only thing we do and that is what we are known for.

We know our jobs pretty well, especially when it comes to group riding. If you have never been with us on any ride, go through our past rides or facebook page and you will know.

Step 2 Transfer the Booking Amount of Rs 20,000 to:

Step 3 Fill in the REGISTRATION FORM. 

The Musafirs will be making confirmed bookings and payments on your behalf and so the booking amount is non-refundable.

Balance full payment to be done 20 days before the ride i.e 04^th June 2017.

We do not support/encourage drugs and are firmly against it! If you cannot resist the urge to light up a joint for ride days, you are better off riding with some other riding group.
