Mandu, Or Mandavgarh, earlier known as Anand Nagari (City Of Happiness) overlooks the Malwa Plateau to the north and Narmada River to the south. Manduis a celebration in stone, of life and joy, a tribute to the love shared between the poet-prince Baz Bahadur and his beautiful consort, Rani Roopmati. The Musafirswould stay at a place where the balcony of your rooms is right above the beautiful valley and the hotel is within 15 minute riding distance from each of the sight-seeing place.

Roopmati’s Pavilion: A Large Sandstone Structure Originally Built As An Army Observation Post It Is Known Today As Roopmati’s Pavilion. Rani Roopmati – The Love Interest Of Baaz Bahadur Lived Here And Is Said To Have Gazed At The Baz Bahadur’s Palace – Situated Below And Also At Narmada River, Flowing Through The Nimar Plains Far Below, A River Which The Queen Revered.

JahazMehal/Ship Palace: Situated Between Two Artificial Lakes, This Two Storied Architectural Marvel Is So Named As It Appears As A Ship Floating In Water.

Hoshang Shah’s Tomb: India’s First Marble Structure, It Is One Of The Most Refined Examples Of Afghan Architecture. Its Unique Features Include The Beautifully Proportioned Dome, Intricate Marble Lattice Work And Porticoed Courts And Towers. It Served As A Template For The Construction Of Taj Mahal.

Jami Masjid: Inspired By The Great Mosque Of Damascus, This Humongous Structure Is Striking In Both Its Simplicity And Architectural Style-With Large Courtyards And Grand Entrances.

Hindola Mahal: Meaning Swing Palace Is So Named Due To Its Sloping Side Walls. The Hindola Mahal Might Have Been Constructed During The Reign Of Hushang Shah About 1425 C.E. But May Date To The End Of The 15th Century During The Reign Of Ghiyas Al-Din.

Riding with the Musafirs requires biking discipline and punctuality. Our riders demonstrate real control, discipline and temperament by riding in the designated formations at the designated speed and performing responsibilities that make the ride function like clock-work.

 

The Musafirs is NOT a Boyz-Only Riders Club. Female riders/pillions are welcome as our female crew member – Shona and numerous other female Musafirs would be there to keep company throughout the trip.

 

We are not the conventional money-minting tour operators, biking is the only thing we do and that is what we are known for. We know our jobs pretty well, especially when it comes to group riding. Step 2 Transfer the Booking Amount of Rs 1,000/- to:

Booking amount: 1000/– (rest will be collected in cash on the ride). Cash on ride feature for members has been discontinued. Kindly do not request slot confirmation without transferring the booking amount.

In case you wish to avoid making payments for the booking amount on every ride, get membership and transfer additional Rs. 1000 as a permanent refundable token at the time of making payment for the membership.

 

Step 3 Fill in the REGISTRATION FORM

 

While there is no last day for booking your slot (First Come, First Serve), the last date for Cancellation of booking is on or before Friday, 21st April 2017 (No cancellations/adjustments/ replacements /clarifications possible after this date). Registrations coming in after this date cannot be cancelled for refund or adjustment.

We do not support/encourage drugs and are firmly against it! If you cannot resist the urge to light up a joint for ride days, you are better off riding with some other riding group.
