    A treat for riders from Mumbai, Pune, Satara and Kolhapur, this ride across north and central Karnataka is definitely one you can’t afford to miss. The first leg of the ride is through the forgotten Vijaynagara empire – Hampi, Pattadakal, Aihole, Badami – India’s richest city in the medieval era and the second largest in the world at that point in time. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, even today, the grandeur of the Vijaynagara empire leaves every visitor mesmerized. In the second leg, you’ll dive south to hit Chikmagalur – the famous hill station known for its coffee – and then trace you way back north through the coastal Karnataka route via Udipi and Gokarna.

    What’s more, you only need to apply for four days’ leave for this nine-day trip! The ride starts on Saturday, 29th September and ends on Sunday, 7th October. So, pack your gears and join us for a jolly good time on this long-distance motorcycle ride through history; the trip will definitely change the way think about you vacations and exploring places.

    So here’s what our perfect touring week plan looks like:

    Day 1: Motorcycling from Mumbai/Pune to Hampi (Easily do-able with expert guidance)

    Day 2: Exploring Hampi (Virupaksha, Narasimha, Stone Charriot, Musical Pillars, Hazara Rama, etc.)

    Day 3: Ride to Aihole, Pattadakkal and Badami (Stay at Badami)

    Day 4: Ride from Badami to Chikmaglur

    Day 5: Explore Chikmaglur

    Day 6: Ride to Udipi, explore the local cuisine and the clean beaches

    Day 7: Enjoy the scenic route from udupi to Gokarna via murudeshwar temple

    Day 8: Explore the 800 years old town of Gokarna and the beaches nearby.

    Day 9: Gokarna – Mumbai

    The ‘cash-on-ride’ facility has been discontinued. In case you wish to avoid making payments for the booking amount on every ride, get membership and transfer additional Rs. 1000 as a permanent refundable token at the time of making payment for the membership.

    Cancellation Policy: In case you register for the ride and wish to cancel participation, the booking amount will not be refunded or adjusted if the cancellation is done on or after  Saturday 15th September, – because that is what the club will have paid to make bookings for you.
    The Musafirs is an evolved riding club with numerous online and print publications writing about it (check it out: https://www.themusafirs.com/media/). Riding with the Musafirs requires biking discipline and punctuality. Our riders demonstrate real control, discipline and temperament by riding in the designated formations at the designated speed and performing responsibilities that make the ride function like clock-work.

    The Musafirs is NOT a Boyz-Only Riders Club. Female riders/pillions are welcome as our female crew member – Shona and numerous other female Musafirs would be there to keep company throughout the trip. We are not the conventional money-minting tour operators, biking is the only thing we do and that is what we are known for. We know our jobs pretty well, especially when it comes to group riding.
