    Motorcycle Ride #130 : Spellbinding NorthEast – Assam, Manipur and Nagaland : Nov 18 – 30, 2019

    Prepare to ride your motorcycle deep into the mesmerizing North-Eastern states –  Assam , Manipur and Nagaland.

    Experience the Manipuri and Naga cultures and taste their delicacies … even the local brew.

    This isn’t one of those circuits that every novice T, D & H with some iron between legs has wet-dreams about. It is for those bikers – the connoisseurs of finer things in life – who are looking for unadulterated, non-fake experiences on “not-yet-commercialized” circuits.

    On this ride, we’ll parcel our bikes to Guwahati because that’s where this journey begins on 18th Nov 2019.

    The following days we ride through Silchar to Imphal – the capital of Manipur – and experience the Ima Keithal, a sprawling 500-year-old all-women market as well as few other places.

    Then we’d ride through Moreh (where you can walk into Burma), and Moirang – where the Indian flag was unfurled for the first time during the British-raj by Netaji.  You’ll also experience the floating homestays and even do a boat ride across the famous Loktak lake.

    Further on we shall head to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland  which needs no explanation. A melting pot of 16 different tribal cultures. You have to be there to experience the diversity.

    A village walk at Khonoma  the 700 year old village that’s the epicenter of the biggest Naga tribe Angami will leave you baffled and if it doesn’t, near the end of the circuit, being on a jeep safari in the rhino park will surely do.

    Step 3: Fill in the REGISTRATION FORM. We’ve booked our flight tickets to reach Guwahati. Check with us which flight you should book so that we can get there together. 

    Cancellation Policy: In case you register for the ride and wish to cancel participation, the booking amount will not be refunded or adjusted if the cancellation is done on or after  15th Oct 2019, – because that is what the club will have paid to make bookings for you.

    Club Background

    The Musafirs is an evolved riding club with numerous online and print publications writing about it (check it out: https://www.themusafirs.com/media/). Riding with the Musafirs requires biking discipline and punctuality. Our riders demonstrate real control, discipline and temperament by riding in the designated formations at the designated speed and performing responsibilities that make the ride function like clock-work.

    The Musafirs is NOT a Boyz-Only Riders Club. Female riders/pillions are welcome as our female crew member – Shona and numerous other female Musafirs would be there to keep company throughout the trip. We are not the conventional money-minting tour operators, biking is the only thing we do and that is what we are known for. We know our jobs pretty well, especially when it comes to group riding. If you have never been with us on any ride, go through our past rides or facebook page and you will know.
