And yes\, you stay in the middle of a forest\, so this is as close to nature as we Zoom zombies can get. \nThe campsite is about 30kms from Vyara Town and 8kms from Unai Village. And\, of course\, we haven’t forgotten about modern comforts amidst a jungle camp – we have AC dorms for maximum\, predictable comfort. \nThe Sahyadri ranges overlook Padamdungri as the River Ambika flows by. The best part is that there is something for everyone. Whether you are the adventurous type or the introspect-in-nature type\, we got you covered. \nThere are treks\, trails\, winding roads that go up and down hillocks\, sunset activities\, observatory towers\, woodlands\, medicinal groves\, etc. Take your pick. From here\, we do a short ride to the accommodation. Here we discuss the plan for the next 12 days and prep you up for the challenges and memories that will make you smile even in your afterlife. \nOn this ride you’ll experience: \n\nSonamarg.  Known as the Meadow of Gold\, Sonmarg is the gateway to Ladakh and is known for its verdant and picturesque valleys and snow-clad peaks.\nChenani Tunnel. The longest road tunnel in India. Riding through this fairly new tunnel\, that’s more than NINE kilometers long is an experience in itself. And what awaits a few kilometers on the other side is the famous rajma chawal – desi ghee with anaardaana chutney at Peerah (google it!)\nZozi La. The first high-mountain pass you’ll be riding through on this route … and if lucky\, you may experience snow!\nKargil War Memorial. This war is memorial situated at Dras at the foothills of Tololing Hills. We bet you’ll not come out of this place without tears in your eyes.\nLeh. \nDiskit-Nubra. You’ll ride through the Khardung La to reach here – it’s probably the only place in India where your camera will capture — Snow-capped peaks\, a huge sand desert\, a river\, and double-humped camels in the same shot. Mesmerizing — to say the least.\nSiachen Base Camp.  At 12K feet visit the OP BABA SHRINE located at the SBC.\nMerak. No roads and an amazing view of the Pangong Tso.\nHanle. Hanle\, in the Changthang valley\, has a scenic landscape that is unique even to Ladakh — and it boasts of one of the world’s highest observatories. Very close to the Indo-China line of actual control. ILP-dependent.\nTso Kar. Another less frequented high-altitude lake — is known for various rare species sightings.\nBaralacha La and the ATAL Tunnel. Few places simply need no introduction.\n\nOfficially\, the ride ends once we touch Chandigarh on the 10th of July. \nPeace of Mind\nIn tow with our convoy\, throughout the ride\, we will have a support vehicle – not an Innova or a Scorpio but a proper bolero camper that can carry your whole bike and you in case of a breakdown or any other uneventful situation. Thus\, you can focus only on experiencing the terrain and enjoy the adrenaline rush. \nAligning the Stars\nWe understand that 2 weeks of leaves is a problem in your corporate office and you’ll need permission from your boss\, spouse\, parents\, kids\, etc … keeping this in mind\, we’ve designed a unique 13-day ride so “Leaves not approved” does not stop you from experiencing this epic adventure. DESCRIPTION:With the winter setting in\, you will feel the nip in the air while you ride along the beautiful NH222. Riding with other Musafirs along the beautiful Malshej Ghat\, where the mountain curve gives you the opportunity of seeing the kilometer-long convoy in one frame\, delivers a sense of pride and belonging. \nThis one is among the shortest rides we’ve ever planned – Just about 150 kms and if you have been thinking of riding with the Musafirs\, waiting for a short one\, this should be it. \nOnce at the accommodation you can visit the Shivneri Fort\, which is a 17th-century military fortification. It is the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj\, the emperor\, and founder of the Maratha Empire. \nAnother piece of history which lies just 3 km from the accommodation is – Lenyadri\, which literally means “mountain cave”. It is also known as Ganesh Lena. Ganesh Pahar is a series of about 30 rock-cut Buddhist caves. The Lenyadri Caves date between the 1st and 3rd century AD and belong to the Hinayana Buddhism tradition. \nThis is our Boot Camp before we head to The Northeast this Dec. \nWhat is special about this ride? This 3-day ride on 22-23-24October has something for everyone – from flat highways valley views of Mandavgarh. In terms of the ride\, you’ll have everything from flat tarmac to the western ghat roads to jungles and beach roads … there’ll not be a dull moment. \nThe acco is perched on 2-acre hilltop overlooking the vast Arabian Sea and a 5-minute walk from the beach. Come\, celebrate the occasion under a million stars in a camping setup with bonfire\, bbq and some music. \nThe destination is about 120kms from Mumbai and about 50 from Pune – a place called Hadshi – it is right on the banks of a beautiful water body. You absolutely will fight with yourself if you have say no to this one. \nOn this one\, we park in the fields right on the banks of a huge water reservoir\, dump our stuff in the 2-3 rooms\, set up tents to sleep at night\, do barbeque and a simple dinner\, dance around the bonfire\, enjoy some music and party all night. \nUnlike our other rides\, just for this one\, if you are a first-timer planning to join\, you should be referred by some Musafir who is joining the ride. The distance is just about 80 kms from Mumbai and Pune – while this is a very short one\, there is a lot of other things in store. \nThe campsite on the banks of Adoshi dam near Khopoli is the destination for this experience. That’s exactly where the Musafirs will lead you on the next three-day motorcycle ride – 18-20 October. How’ll the ride be – flat tarmac and four/six lane highways for a major part of the ride … and once we leave the highway\, it’ll be the mountains\, greenery\, waterfalls and us on our most prized possessions – our bikes.
