The Sun\, Sand and Beach\, along with company of THE MUSAFIRS will amplify the FUN. \nVelneshwar Beach that lies between Guhaghar and Ganpatipule. Although this one would be a shorter  km 500-600 circuit (250kms one way for Musafirs from Pune and 300 for Musafirs from Mumbai) there would be no compromise on the quality of experience. \nWe’ve done this beach stretch in the past and have been just mesmerized by the scenic beauty of the route as well as of the destination. Also\, with glistening white sand beaches at your doorstep\, you can indulge yourselves in magnificent oceanfront views\, elegant accommodation and mouth watering delicious konkani cuisines and near private beach for your ownself. SUMMARY:Musafirs Motorcycle Ride – Nov 13-14 \, 2021 : The Boot Camp Ride.
DESCRIPTION:With the winter setting in\, you will feel the nip in the air while you ride along the beautiful NH222. Riding with other Musafirs along the beautiful Malshej Ghat\, where the mountain curve gives you the opportunity of seeing the kilometer-long convoy in one frame\, delivers a sense of pride and belonging. \nThis one is among the shortest rides we’ve ever planned – Just about 150 kms and if you have been thinking of riding with the Musafirs\, waiting for a short one\, this should be it. \nOnce at the accommodation you can visit the Shivneri Fort\, which is a 17th-century military fortification. It is the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj\, the emperor\, and founder of the Maratha Empire. \nAnother piece of history which lies just 3 km from the accommodation is – Lenyadri\, which literally means “mountain cave”. It is also known as Ganesh Lena. Ganesh Pahar is a series of about 30 rock-cut Buddhist caves. The Lenyadri Caves date between the 1st and 3rd century AD and belong to the Hinayana Buddhism tradition. \nThis is our Boot Camp before we head to The Northeast this Dec. \nWhat is special about this ride? You get hands-on training on basic bike repairs and maintenance\, so that you are never stuck stranded in the middle of a heavy downpour or when touring just because of a minor issue with the motorcycle.  \nLearn to change your clutch and acci cables\, the wheel bearings\, fixing a puncture\, learn how to identify short circuits\, changing fuses\, packing your luggage for 2 weeks of touring\, and much much more.  But it’s not a rider’s only ride – our pillions have even more fun as they get to delve into the beauty and enjoy the serpentine bike formations to the fullest. \nThe distance is just about 150 kms (So if you were waiting for a short ride to try your biking ability\, now is the time). It will be an experience etched in your mind forever. This 3-day ride on 22-23-24October has something for everyone – from flat highways valley views of Mandavgarh. There’ll not be a dull moment.  \nSo apply for your leaves today itself … you don’t want your boss to say “NO\,” at the last moment after your register for the ride. \nCome\, join the experience … Come ride with us to Mandu – a largely unexplored destination ! \nThis exact route of about 500kms along the NH3 has given us a lot of memories and learnings in the past – this route is where we actually unlocked our strategy for “long-distance riding” 10 years ago. When on the road\, we’d be doing long stretches to allow you to find your rhythm and “enter the zone.” You would not want to miss this ride for sure. \nThe Ride Plan\nWe start the ride on Friday (22nd Oct)\, reach back on Sunday (24thOct). And it’s not a chai sutta ride … when we say we ride\, we actually do … \nThe destination is relatively unknown and unexplored by motorcyclists from Mumbai and Pune. Mandu\, or Mandavgarh\, earlier known as Anand Nagari (City Of Happiness) overlooks the Malwa Plateau to the north and Narmada River to the south. \nMandu is a celebration in stone\, of life and joy\, a tribute to the love shared between the poet-prince Baz Bahadur and his beautiful consort\, Rani Roopmati. \nThe Musafirswould stay at a place right in the middle of this beautiful ancient hill station that will be within 15-minute riding distance from every monument we will explore. \nHighlights: \nRoopmati’s Pavilion: A large fort-like monument known as Roopmati’s pavilion \nJahazMahal: Situated between two artificial lakes\, this two-storied architectural marvel is so named as it appears as a ship floating in water. \nThe TAJ Template: Hoshang Shah’s tombwas India’s first marble structure and one that served as a template and inspiration for the grand Taj Mahal of Agra. \nThe Great Mosque: Inspired by the great mosque of Damascus\, this humongous structure is striking in both its simplicity and architectural style-with large courtyards and grand entrances. \nInterested? The idea is to loosen up a bit\, rekindle the camaraderie\, tinker around with your bikes and get the mind and machine into the groove to enjoy the long-distancemotorcycle rides coming up over the next few months. \nAt about 100kms from Mumbai\, this one could have easily qualified for a chai-sutta/breakfast ride as well. But when you’ve been away from like-minded souls for such a long time\, the tales are bound to flow and so an over-night ride toh banta hai! And what better destination than riding to the Statue of Unity for this “Together Ride”. \nOn this ride\, in addition to the Statue of Unity\, we also cover the beautiful historic city of Champaner and visit the beautiful monuments at this place that used to be the capital of the Sultanate of Gujarat. DESCRIPTION:Gate Pass:  Aligned with our #SafetyIsSexy operating style\, to join this ride\, you will have to test COVID negative. Free Home/Center COVID testing by Metropolis Labs will be arranged for participants registering for the ride – it is on the participant to coordinate and ensure the collection is done between the time allotted. Alternatively\, the participant can do the test on their own and present a COVID negative report dated not more than 3 days prior to the scheduled date of the ride. \nThe Musafirs Motorcycle Club celebrates a decade. With maximum precautions\, we unlock the shackles and get back to motorcycling – starting off with our anniversary ride to Gokarna. \nThis 4-day ride in the week of Republic day 23-24-25-26 January (Saturday – Tuesday) will be a booster for the biker within us and rekindle the Musafirs spirit after a gap of many months. In terms of the ride\, you’ll have everything from flat tarmac to the western ghat roads to jungles and beach roads … there’ll not be a dull moment. \nThe acco is perched on 2-acre hilltop overlooking the vast Arabian Sea and a 5-minute walk from the beach. To top it up\, from the angle of safety\, we chose this acco for its bunk beds to ensure you have your well-defined space to maintain distancing even while you sleep. \nIn the past 10 years of motorcycling\, the collective experience we’ve gained makes us what we are today – an ultra-disciplined bunch of bikers who watch each other’s back. There are many “firsts” that the Musafirs introduced to the motorcycling arena in India – from hi-vis reflective vests\, to pickup trucks in tow even on smaller rides\, to colour-coded\, designated riding formations and full-tank single-kick distances … the list goes on. Come\, join the experience … come ride with us to Gokarna! \nThis is a fairly long ride along the NH4 and the NH17 will have lot of memories to offer especially when coupled with the biking discipline observed by the Musafirs. DESCRIPTION:Ever wondered what it is to be in the company of experienced motorcyclists and ride with a club that has etched a name for itself during its 10 years of existence?Here’s your chance – we’d not call it a ride\, rather a weekend getaway … even before you get on your bike\, it’ll be time to unmount. The distance is just about 80 kms from Mumbai and Pune – while this is a very short one\, there is a lot of other things in store. \nThe campsite on the banks of Adoshi dam near Khopoli is the destination for this experience. We park our vehicles on the banks of Adoshi\, dump our stuff in the tents and simply chill – this is the one ride that we do every year where we allow cars to tag along. DESCRIPTION:Leh Motorcycle Ride #124: The Dream Circuit (15 to 29 June 2019) \n\nWhen the stars align … That’s when many live their dream to motorcycle through Ladakh. On the Leh motorcycle ride\, some choose the traditional route — with high tourist density\, others\, prefer the offbeat ones. And the latter is what this year’s Musafirs Leh Motorcycle Ride is gonna be. Highlights of what you’ll experience this June on the road.\n\nWhat You’ll Experience On This Leh Motorcycle Ride \n\n\nAmritsar. That’s where we’ll all assemble on Saturday\, 15th June. During the day\, we collect our bikes from the Amritsar train station/gati warehouse/mechanic — and visit the GOLDEN TEMPLE to seek the blessings of Wahe Guru. The ride officially starts with an early dinner that evening where we get to know each other\, set expectations and boundaries for the next two weeks and simply use the time to get “in the zone.”\nChenani Tunnel. The longest road tunnel in India. Riding through this two-year old tunnel\, that’s more than NINE kilometers long is an experience in itself. And what awaits a few kilometers on the other side is the famous rajma chawal – desi ghee with anaardaana chutney at Peerah (google it!)\nZozi La. The first high-mountain pass you’ll be riding through on this route … and if lucky\, you may experience snow!\nKargil War Memorial. This war is memorial situated at Dras at the foothills of Tololing Hills. We bet\, you’ll not come out of this place without tears in your eyes.\nLeh. \nDiskit-Nubra. You’ll ride through the Khardung La to reach here – it’s probably the only place in India where your camera will capture — Snow capped peaks\, a huge sand desert\, a river and double humped camels in the same shot. Mesmerizing — to say the least.\nMerak. No roads and an amazing view of the Pangong Tso.\nHanle. Hanle\, in the Changthang valley has a scenic landscape that is unique even to Ladakh — and it boasts of one of the world’s highest observatories. Very close to the Indo-China line of actual control. ILP-dependent.\nTso Kar. Another less frequented high-altitude lake — known for various rare species sighting.\nBaralacha La and Rohtang La. Few places simply need no introduction.\n\n\n\nThe Ride Plan\nFor this Leh Motorcycle Ride\, we ship our bikes to Amritsar (those few lucky ones with additional chuttis ride all the way). We assemble with our bikes at the hotel in Amritsar on 15th June … and spend the following nights at these destinations: Udhampur\, Srinagar\, Kargil\, Leh-2\, Diskit-2\, Merak (Pangong)\, Hanle\, Tso Kar\, Jispa\, Manali/Naggar and the last night at Chandigarh on 28 June (Friday). If it rains\, it’ll be “sone pe suhaaga\,” if it doesn’t\, there’s a small pool to jump into. So\, let’s ride together on 15-16 June. \nOh yes\, and you can go up the hillock nearby\, to Shivneri Fort – Shivaji’s birthplace and the lenyadri caves. Well\, but after seeing and experiencing the brotherhood and discipline of riding in the Musafirs convoy\, you’d feel satisfied enough and not even step out of the accommodation – honestly. DESCRIPTION:Let’s beat the heat this summer with a dip in the sea! That’s exactly what we plan to do on the next motorcycle ride. Oh\, and we don’t stay at the “commercial” & “touristy” area near Kashid\, we go a few kilometers south along the coast and stay at a serene property surrounded by coconut plantations and a stone throw from the beach. \nIt’ll be a beautiful bike ride in the company of like-minded motorcycling fanatics\, and even if you are a first-timer\, we bet that you’ll not feel like one. We are not brand loyalists and often our parking lot has 150ccs parked next to litre-class eye candies. What you ride doesn’t matter at all … it is the warmth of this breed of motorcyclists. DESCRIPTION:A good motorcycle ride with a perfect mix of ghats and plains\, tasty khaana and an amazing view of the valley below. That’s the long and short of the next Musafirs motorcycle ride to Panchgani. But we’ll not take the straight route – instead\, we’ll do what motorcyclists love doing – a slightly longer circuit. On this circuit\, we’ll ride through the NH4 and NH17 – doing long straight patches and a few short twisties.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis Motorcycle Ride Plan \nWe start the ride on Saturday (13th April)\, reach back on Sunday (14th April). The destination is just about (220 kms from Mumbai Assembly) – we stay at a modest bungalow perched on the edge of the valley. \nWe start the ride on time\, engage in a buffet breakfast and proceed toward the accommodation. Following a scrumptious meal\, you can choose to rest or explore around. Those more adventurous can also ride a horse on the table top – the famous plateau of Panchgani\, while others can roam through the market and dig into the amazing fresh cream desserts that Panchgani has to offer. \nThe evening session will be chilled out – introducing newbies\, sharing past ride experiences and enjoying the company. DESCRIPTION:It simply takes a tank full (or two) of fuel\, and few buddies of similar wavelength on a motorcycle ride to disconnect from routine and truly unwind. And no other feeling compares with the bliss of riding a motorcycle on open highways – no matter what you ride – a Yamaha or a Honda\, a KTM or an Enfield. And this bliss is what we’ll experience on the next ride. \nBlock your dates for 9-10th February – and join this Musafirs’ short ride to the charming and idyllic village of Yavateshwar along the Kaas-Satara Road. Nestled amidst thick greenery\, right on top of the valley is an uber-cool resort with wooden cottages\, serving the most delectable cuisine with a dash of local flavours – that is where we stay and make merry. \nJust last month (Jan 2019) the Musafirs did a Mumbai-Udaipur-Mumbai ride for our 8th anniversary (Ride#118) and comparatively\, this one in Feb to Yavateshwar – at about 250 kms – is a pretty short ride from Mumbai and even shorter from Pune. \n\n\nThe Ride Plan\nWe start the ride on Saturday (9th Feb)\, reach back on Sunday (10th Feb). And it’s not a chai-sutta ride … but just a little more than that … \nAs usual\, the ride starts early – so that we beat traffic and enjoy the roll. And we’d like you to join us as we camp near the Hadshi dam\, under the stars\, with bbqs\, campfire and wonderful company from the Musafirs family and some soulful MUSICAL SESSION by an artist for the evening.\n\nIt’s just 120 kms from Mumbai\, and 60 kms from Pune – so no excuses! The ride is guaranteed to be short and sweet and a musical one!\n\nThe plan is to have lunch at the location\, then probably cool our feet on the edges of the dam before we start the Ganna Session with  barbeque and campfire.
