    Ride # 124 : Musafirs Motorcycle Ride to Junnar : 15-16 June.

    Here’s the next motorcycle ride – a refreshing short ride through the scenic twisties of NH222 – from Mumbai to Malshej and beyond that to the ancient city of Junnar. If it rains, it’ll be “sone pe suhaaga,” if it doesn’t, there’s a small pool to jump into. So, let’s ride together on 15-16 June.

    Oh yes, and you can go up the hillock nearby, to Shivneri Fort – Shivaji’s birthplace and the lenyadri caves. Well, but after seeing and experiencing the brotherhood and discipline of riding in the Musafirs convoy, you’d feel satisfied enough and not even step out of the accommodation – honestly. This one is our 124th ride … and we pretty sure know our thing.

    First-timers, this is the ride to join us on – short and splendid – to experience the camaraderie. Bet that you’ll use this statement on your friends sitting on the fence after you experience it once with us. You have to be there to believe it, over time, you’ll have an unparalleled sense of pride and belonging.

    This Motorcycle Ride Plan :

    We start the ride on Saturday (15th June), reach back on Sunday (16th June).

    Pune Chapter Assembly: 7:00 AM Nashik Phata

    We start the ride on time, engage in a sumptuous breakfast enroute and proceed toward the accommodation. We stay at a modest accommodation and following a scrumptious meal, you can choose to rest or explore the forts , or the farmland of the accommodation or simply just laze in the pool.

    Travel Trivia : There are about 8 forts in and around Junnar and hence it is also called as the land of forts, so ya you have a lot to explore if you wish to. 🙂

    The ‘full cash-on-ride’ facility has been discontinued. In case you wish to avoid making payments for the booking amount on every ride, transfer additional Rs. 1035 as a permanent refundable token at the time of making payment for the registration.

    Cancellation Policy: In case you register for the ride and wish to cancel participation, the booking amount will not be refunded or adjusted if the cancellation is done on or after  Monday 10th June, – because that is what the club will have paid to make bookings for you.
    The Musafirs is an evolved riding club with numerous online and print publications writing about it (check it out: https://www.themusafirs.com/media/). Riding with the Musafirs requires biking discipline and punctuality. Our riders demonstrate real control, discipline and temperament by riding in the designated formations at the designated speed and performing responsibilities that make the ride function like clock-work.

    The Musafirs is NOT a Boyz-Only Riders Club. Female riders/pillions are welcome as our female crew member – Shona and numerous other female Musafirs would be there to keep company throughout the trip. We are not the conventional money-minting tour operators, biking is the only thing we do and that is what we are known for. We know our jobs pretty well, especially when it comes to group riding. If you have never been with us on any ride, go through our past rides or facebook page and you will know.
