And the Musafirs are at it again for the 3rd time in a row! The snow capped peaks of the Himalayas and the rustic landscape invites the rugged biker in us to explore the challenging terrain of Ladakh on 2 wheels… An experience that is not meant for all but the strong willed biker!

The Route:

Srinagar – Drass / Kargil – Leh – Nubra – Turtuk – Pangong Tso – Sarchu – Manali

The ride commences from Srinagar, passes the prodigious Zoji La, and enroute to Leh, we will pay respects to our fallen soldiers at Kargil. Once in Leh, we continue our journey towards the colossal Khardung La, reach the serene Nubra and take a plunge into the depth of the Himalayas by riding to Turtuk – the last outpost in India and one of the gateways to the Siachen glacier. The team then visits the mystic Pangong Lake, a photographer’s delight and stay overnight. The road further leads us to the ice land of Baralach La, through the Rohtang and the ride will culminate at Manali.

(Weather is highly unpredictable in these regions of the country and there could be a few minor changes)

• > Sense of accomplishment, as you ride on the ‘Highest motorable road in the world’ (Khardung La ~ 18000′).
• > Maggi, from the military canteen that tastes better than any other maggi in the world
• > Expanses of huge deserts and double humped camels in the middle of snow capped peaks, Nubra
• > The last checkpost in India, Turtuk
• > The inner calm at numerous Monasteries
• > Ecstatic Panaromas as you approach the Pangong Lake
• > Breathtaking views in the Solang Valley and the source of the Beas river
• > Exploring the rich culture of the Hadimba Devi temple, the Gompas and the Vashisht hot springs
• > A walk on the famous ‘Mall Road‘ of Manali, shopping for souvenirs and shawls
• > Unforgettable memories from an impeccable journey through the charming Ladakh

We are not the conventional, money-minting tour operators… We believe in experiences… Riding is the only thing we do… Leading memorable Bike Expeditions is what we are known for… And we do our jobs pretty well… The ride to Ladakh this June will be the 73rd motorcycle group biking tour organized by The Musafirs… Go through our Past Rides if you haven’t ridden with us before, or check our Facebook page… The Musafirs is NOT a Boyz-Only Riders Club… Female riders/pillions are welcome as our crew and numerous other female Musafirs would be there to keep company throughout the trip…

On this circuit, you will be riding at altitudes of around 15000′ above sea level and in terrains where the weather can turn hostile within seconds. It is a significant risk that requires experience to mitigate. You could save a few bucks by doing this ride with startups, novices and friends, and things would be smooth… Until the inexperience kicks in… Our experience gives us the ability to give you a better quality experience…
