Itinerary (Dec 2 – 17)

Guwahati – Gateway to the East: Our journey begins in Guwahati, the bustling city nestled on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River. After a warm welcome and a quick briefing, we’ll set out on our quest to explore the hidden gems of North East India.

Bokakhat – Tea Gardens and Beyond: From Guwahati, we’ll ride to Bokakhat, a town surrounded by verdant tea gardens. As we traverse through the lush greenery, we’ll witness the breathtaking beauty of the region.

Tinsukia – Along the Banks of Brahmaputra: Our next stop is Tinsukia, a town that rests along the banks of the majestic Brahmaputra River. Get ready to soak in the serenity of the river and its surrounding landscapes.

Mokokchung – Exploring Naga Heritage: Venturing further, we’ll reach Mokokchung, a land of rich Naga culture and traditions. Embrace the warmth of the locals and savor the picturesque vistas.

Khonoma and Kohima – Amidst the Hills: Riding through the hills, we’ll reach Khonoma and Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. Witness the historical significance of Khonoma and experience the charm of Kohima.

Hornbill Festival – A Vibrant Extravaganza: Our journey coincides with the iconic Hornbill Festival in Kohima. Immerse yourself in the vibrant Naga festivities, cultural performances, and traditional delicacies.

Imphal – Land of Legends: As we enter Manipur, we’ll arrive in Imphal, a city steeped in history and mythology. Explore its ancient sites and soak in the essence of this captivating land.

Moirang and Loktak – Nature’s Masterpieces: Riding to Moirang, we’ll visit the serene Loktak Lake, often called the floating paradise. Be captivated by the stunning blend of floating islands and traditional huts.

Aizawl – The Jewel of Mizoram: Our journey continues to Aizawl, the vibrant capital of Mizoram. Witness its picturesque landscapes and immerse yourself in the local culture.

Unakoti – Unveiling Ancient Carvings: Unakoti is our next stop, where we’ll discover the ancient rock-cut sculptures that tell a mesmerizing tale from the past.

Dawki – Crystal Clear Waters: As we venture to Dawki, be prepared to be awestruck by the pristine waters of the Umngot River, offering an ethereal boating experience.

Back to Guwahati – A Journey to Remember: After an unforgettable expedition, we’ll ride back to Guwahati, cherishing the memories of the magical journey we’ve undertaken together.

How We Ride

Riding with the Musafirs requires biking discipline and punctuality. The Musafirs is an evolved motorcycle club. Our riders demonstrate real control, discipline, and temperament by riding in the designated formations at the designated speed and performing responsibilities that make the ride function like clockwork.

The collective experience we’ve gained as a club over the past 12 years makes us what we are today – an ultra-disciplined bunch of bikers who watch each other’s back. And that’s what also us to orchestrate long-distance rides. There are many “firsts” that the Musafirs introduced to the motorcycling arena in India – from hi-vis reflective vests, to pickup trucks in tow even on smaller rides, to colour-coded, designated riding formations and full-tank single-kick distances … the list goes on.

We are not the conventional money-minting tour operators. Biking is the only thing we do and that is what we are known for. We know our jobs pretty well, especially when it comes to group riding. If you have never been with us on any ride, go through our past rides or Facebook page or google reviews and you will know.

No Drug/No Riding Under Alcohol Influence

We do not support/encourage drugs and are firmly against it #NoMaalOnRides ! If you cannot resist the urge to light up a joint on the ride days, you are better-off with some other riding group – in fact, ask us and we’ll gladly point you where to go. In addition, if you plan to have a drink or two anywhere outside the accommodation DO NOT RIDE to that place. Instead, be someone’s pillion or get a cab/rickshaw/tum-tum/horse/tiger (animal, not the bike)/walk.
