Musafirs Motorcycle Ride : A Refreshing Short Adventure
Get ready for our next motorcycle ride, a perfect quick escape..!! As winter approaches, or perhaps the rains still lingers, we really don’t know, but what we do know is that the stunning NH222 calls to us.
Join the Musafirs on a memorable journey through the Malshej Ghat, where the mountain curves reveal breathtaking views of a kilometer-long convoy, filling you with pride and camaraderie.Experience the scenic twists as we travel from our base to Malshej and on to the historic city of Junnar.
We start the ride on time, engage in a sumptuous breakfast enroute and proceed toward the accommodation. We stay at a modest accommodation and following a tasty meal, you can choose to rest or explore the forts.
You can hike up to the nearby Shivneri Fort, the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, a fascinating 17th-century military stronghold. Just 3 km away, explore Lenyadri, also known as Ganesh Lena, which features around 30 rock-cut Buddhist caves from the 1st to 3rd century AD, belonging to the Hinayana Buddhist tradition.
And if relaxation is what you seek , participate in a box cricket tournament or unwind in the small pool awaiting you at the accommodation.
The distance is just about 150 kms (So if you were waiting for a short ride to try your biking ability, now is the time). It will be an experience etched in your mind forever. Don’t wait for your friends to agree to join you… biking does not appeal to everyone and you may end up missing the smaller pleasures of life if you wait for your friends.

We are 181 rides young and operating the club since 13+ years. Hence, our ride SOPs are well-refined, well-defined and we know our shit! We are an inclusive club – your age, gender, caste, religion, profession, sexual orientation, etc., does not matter. What matters the most is the head and heart that drives the machine and the soul! We strictly follow the always-helmet-on-bikes, no-drug and no-litter policy – if you can’t adhere, please F.O. That’s exactly how serious we are when it comes to these.

How We Ride:
Riding with the Musafirs requires biking discipline and punctuality. The Musafirs is an evolved motorcycle club. Our riders demonstrate real control, discipline, and temperament by riding in the designated formations at the designated speed and performing responsibilities that make the ride function like clockwork. We take a pickup truck along as a breakdown vehicle to manage exigencies/breakdowns. Even if the roads throw a curve ball, we\’ve got your back!
On the Ride, we’ll have almost everything you may need – cosy beds, sleeping sets, warm and tasty meals, continuous entertainment, clean toilets, etc – but not everything you may “want” (like a jacuzzi or a masseur) :-D.
We take pride in our tight-knit community of (com)passionate riders and “No Rider Gets Left Behind!” Our camaraderie and support for each other create an inclusive and uplifting atmosphere. As we weave through the beautiful landscapes, you’ll forge bonds that last a lifetime, sharing stories and laughter with fellow Musafirs who share the same thrill for motorcycling.
In our 13 years of motorcycling, Musafirs has pioneered innovations in biking culture, from hi-vis reflective vests to designated riding formations. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a first-timer, on a high-displacement beast or an ungeared marvel – ALL are welcome! No need for pretenses here – just be yourself, free from any guise.
We are not the conventional money-minting tour operators. Biking is the only thing we do and that is what we are known for. We know our jobs pretty well, especially when it comes to group riding. If you have never been with us on any ride, go through our past rides or Facebook page or google reviews and you will know.
No Drug/No Riding Under Influence
We do not support/encourage drugs and are firmly against it #NoMaalOnRides ! If you cannot resist the urge to light up a joint on the ride days, you are better-off with some other riding group – in fact, ask us and we’ll gladly point you where to go. In addition, if you plan to have a drink or two anywhere outside the accommodation DO NOT RIDE to that place. Instead, be someone’s pillion or get a cab/rickshaw/tum-tum/horse/tiger (animal, not the bike)/walk.

Cancellation Policy
We work on trust and goodwill
There is no last date to register for the ride. You can register until we have slots. For cancellations, you have the window until Thursday, Oct 10, 2024 and we WILL refund the entire booking amount. We’ll make payments to vendors and partners on this date and hence for any cancellations after this date, you will have to forego the booking amount. In this situation, please don’t request refunds/adjustments as we’ll not be able to do that.
