    Ride #123 : Bike, Beach & Bonhomie – Motorcycle Ride to Kashid (18-19 May 2019)

    Let’s beat the heat this summer with a dip in the sea! That’s exactly what we plan to do on the next motorcycle ride. Oh, and we don’t stay at the “commercial” & “touristy” area near Kashid, we go a few kilometers south along the coast and stay at a serene property surrounded by coconut plantations and a stone throw from the beach.

    It’ll be a beautiful bike ride in the company of like-minded motorcycling fanatics, and even if you are a first-timer, we bet that you’ll not feel like one. We are not brand loyalists and often our parking lot has 150ccs parked next to litre-class eye candies. What you ride doesn’t matter at all … it is the warmth of this breed of motorcyclists. The distance, though short, we’ll ensure that the rhythm we enjoy while riding doesn’t get hampered and you will have a peaceful, undisturbed time meditating with the throttle once you get on the bike.

    This Motorcycle Ride Plan :

    We start the ride on Saturday (18th May), reach back on Sunday (19th May).

    We start the ride on time, engage in a sumptuous breakfast at Vadkhal and proceed toward the accommodation. We stay at a modest accommodation and following a scrumptious meal, you can choose to rest or explore around. Those more adventurous can engage in water sports at Kashid beach – while others can simply laze on the beach, or at the property, or visit the famous Ganapati temple that is said to make wishes come true.

    The evening session will be chilled out – introducing newbies and enjoying the company. Remember – slots go fast. And the later you register, the lesser chances of you getting an AC room 😛

    The ‘full cash-on-ride’ facility has been discontinued. In case you wish to avoid making payments for the booking amount on every ride, transfer additional Rs. 1050 as a permanent refundable token at the time of making payment for the registration.

    Cancellation Policy: In case you register for the ride and wish to cancel participation, the booking amount will not be refunded or adjusted if the cancellation is done on or after  Monday 13th May, – because that is what the club will have paid to make bookings for you.
    The Musafirs is an evolved riding club with numerous online and print publications writing about it (check it out: https://www.themusafirs.com/media/). Riding with the Musafirs requires biking discipline and punctuality. Our riders demonstrate real control, discipline and temperament by riding in the designated formations at the designated speed and performing responsibilities that make the ride function like clock-work.

    The Musafirs is NOT a Boyz-Only Riders Club. Female riders/pillions are welcome as our female crew member – Shona and numerous other female Musafirs would be there to keep company throughout the trip. We are not the conventional money-minting tour operators, biking is the only thing we do and that is what we are known for. We know our jobs pretty well, especially when it comes to group riding. If you have never been with us on any ride, go through our past rides or facebook page and you will know.
